Jo Hacker is one of Jersey’s leading male golfers, renowned for his success in both international amateur competition and collegiate golf in the United States. A former Hampshire county champion and standout at Jacksonville University, Jo has represented Jersey in numerous major amateur tournaments across the UK and US, consistently demonstrating skill, leadership, and sportsmanship.
Jo made headlines by winning individual gold at the 2023 Island Games in Guernsey, playing a pivotal role in Jersey’s strong team performance. He was named Jersey Golf’s Men’s Player of the Year twice in three years, reflecting his consistency and high-level play. In 2023, he achieved his best collegiate finish by placing fourth individually at a major event in South Carolina.
